CDK Global is the largest global provider of integrated information technology and digital marketing solutions to the automotive retail industry. The company serves more than 27,000 retail client locations in more than 100 countries.

When I started at the company, my focus was on the front end, but I have grown into a full-stack developer. At the moment, I am working on a team that builds RESTful microservices to support dealer-facing and customer-facing Web applications.

Moraine Valley Community College

2012 - 2013

In March 2012, Moraine Valley Community College launched a redesigned website, and I was responsible for transitioning old sections of the site into the new design. When I started, the conversion was already in progress, so this was good experience at working with someone else’s code. Working on the site was also good experience with synergy in marketing. Printed marketing materials would push the public to the Web site, and in the case of the Fine and Performing Arts Center, the design of that section of the site reflected the design of the printed marketing materials.
